Moses almost got taken out before he got started due to disobedience to God. Obedience is important to God. Get rid of the things in your life that keep you apart from Him.
After Pharaoh told the Israelites to make bricks without straw, making their labor that much more difficult, the people cursed Moses. He cried out to God “why did You ever send me?”. Everything happens in God’s timing, not ours. God knows all and is always in control.
There will always be a remnant of Israel, no matter who tries to wipe them out. Pray for Israel.
Maybe you don’t understand why your circumstances are the way they are right now, but God is with you through it all. Trust in Him through your times of trials and tribulations. God is strengthening you in your adversity.
Satan is a liar and a thief. He has nothing good for you. He can’t steal your salvation, but he can ruin your testimony.
Each plague was God showing Egypt that their “gods” that they worshiped had no power over the one true living God.
Beginning with the fourth plague, God would make a distinction between the Israelites and the Egyptians. God was giving further proof that His power was behind the ecological disasters. We are saved from the wrath of God if we are God’s people. If you are not saved, you are under His wrath.
When our lives get hard, we are prone to “make a deal” with God to get us out of the mess that we got ourselves into. And then when the mess is gone, just like Pharaoh, we go right back to our sinful ways. And Satan crouches at the door waiting for us.
Are you right with God? Have you done what He has asked you to do? Obedience to God leads to blessings, disobedience leads to discipline.
In the battle between the spirit and the flesh, the one that you feed is the one that wins.
Egypt had darkness during the ninth plague. God’s people have light, and His name is Jesus!
